I’ve been working on meeting new people, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with that. Yesterday, a group of new friends and I went and explored the old abandoned subway tunnels here in R-town. The subway officially closed down in June of 1956, and has been partially filled in already. The plan for a while was to fill the entire remaining underground portion, but that would have cost the city millions for no good reason, so partway through the project it was stopped. We were able to sneak in and get some really cool photo’s of the graffiti, beams, and more. The underground portion was pitch black, so I’m glad I brought a good flashlight!
